The Building

This Photograph was take in 1937 by Tom Menzel.  This building was formerly the Carquist and Menzel Funeral Parlor and now is home to the Club Paris. Taken from Kimball's Department Store at the corner of Fifth Avenue and E Street in 1937 by Tom Menzel. The Interior on opening day, 1957.  The front area of the restaurant was an addition to the original building that was intended to look like a Parisian sidewalk cafe with an "Awning" like ceiling and Shrubbery.
